I took off the factory drive belt due to cracks, went to pepboys and got a new belt and installed it, it was noisy as heck, so i went to the dealer and spent the 75.00 bucks on a factory belt, it is quit again, 7 months later, its chirping and squeaking again, the belt is clean and the pulleys have been cleaned, WTF. Anyone have the same problem.

Sounds like a tensioner!! Is it the main big belt or the AC belt that you replaced?

I replaced the tensioner and the idler pulley, as soon as i replaced the belt with a dealer belt the noise went away.

Were they all OEM stuff? Aftermarket tensioners and idler pulleys can go bad in a short time, usually the OEM stuff doesn't! For belts, I usually go for OEM or a brand called Gates, those are the best belts I have pretty much ever seen out there, they grip awesome!!
