normal tenp range

my truck usually hits between the 100 and 210 center mark and stays (excuse my ignorance) but today i decided to turn on the ac it was a lil hot today .my ac dosent get real cold but enough to keep u alright but after a while off stop and go traffic the temp went up to 210 and the oil pressure dropped close to the orange and check gauge light blinked so i turned off the ac temp dropped pressure went up light went off.water pump dosent leak but could it be bad or could the radiator be bad .just changed out the fan clutch tcoolant temp sens,filled the radiator with the orange coolan per specs .ive been under hood almost everyday after work tinkering around with the motor replacing sensors vac lines still cant find prob help please.

up to 210 is about the normal range. What thermostat you running? What oil weight?

210 is normal. OE thermostat is 195.

Usually the fan clutch and water pump give out at the same time, and you replaced the fan clutch a couple of weeks back so it wouldn't be surprising if that needs replacement too. Also, when was the last time the coolant was flushed? Is the coolant in it now an even 50/50 mixture?

Yeah on da coolant but never flushed ,as far as oil i use 10 w 30 it prob needs changing by no on that what is the temp range on oil mine fluctuates up to 40 when warmin up stays there pretty much through the mornin but in the after noon when everything warms up it hits 40 then drops to about 20 at idle when i drive it moves up and dowm between 20 and 40 stopin an goin .i guess ill replace the pump today see what happens.oh the cel comes on when i hit the eway or just sittin idlein goes off when i turn the truck off and stsrt back wont come on while drivin in city traffic just on the eway ..

my thermostat was wrong it was a 160 so replaced with 195 temp went up to 210 everythings fine

Wow, 160 is pretty low, wonder why the previous owner would run that. I am currently running 180.

yeah it freaked me out the other day with the check gage light on i thought that was curtins for old truck...after changin the therm. it didnt have a gasket so i installed new one and o ring while tighting up the bolts i over tourqed and broke the inlet ears so what was a easy fix turned out to be a little head ache still easy but just the fact of running back and forth to az . some of the guys are pretty cool and know there shit theres a couple that are just dumb asses
