I went to replace my burnt out running lights today, but hit an issue. It seems like you have to take the bumper off to get to the headlights?? Am I blind and missing a bolt or do you have to take the whole thing off?

I hate these freakin headlights ! I have had to change one on the Yukon & Avalanche and it was no fun. We went the lazy way and cut a slit in the little black material panel behind the lights and got a skinny friend to squeeze his arm in there lol. Everyone I asked when doing it said remove the bumper but I was 1. too scared, 2. too busy

INTERESTING, ............. as it is rather simple on an NBS truck.

-----> Pull out the two pins on the top of the headlight, pull out the headlight assembly.
-----> Push in a clip on the running light/turnsignal assembly and you are there.

No more then a five minute job on the NBS Yukon.

Yeah the NNBS are a B to change out a headlight bulbs. You don't really need to take the bumper cover off. U just need to loosen it up a little and the headlight comes out just barely but be careful as u can scratch the paint or break a tab on the headlight.

He said running lights. So I thought he meant daytime running lights. And he also mentioned his headlights????
