pull the plug wires one at a time and see if the idle changes. the one that doesn't change the idle is the problem. I had a plug wire pop off and my check engine light started flashing. Chances are you got a bad plug or plug wire not plugged in correctly. had the same issue on my sons Accord and it turned out to be a bad coil pack. found the problem using the same method.

Thanks I will try that, I knew it had to be something simple
