NP 241 transfer case swap ideas

I'm considering an NP 241 swap in the distant future incorporating a cable shift. I was first thinking about incorporating an automatic trans shifter into the cup holder area of the console, from a FWD Honda or something and modifying it to shift the TC. I then started wondering if there was a factory console (Transmission) shifter from an Escalade or Avalanche that would better fit. I could build my own shifter with a morse cable I suppose, but I like the idea of cheap junkyard stuff.

Any ideas would be helpful.

you want to cable shift a transfer case? i think a manual transfer case is easily more dependable but i doubt you could cable shift one. maybe an electronic actuator and a 4way switch of some kind.
