Ordered an NP241C, front driveline, and speed sensor pigtail from ebay. New t-case seals, gasket, and light switch pigtail from Rockauto, and a shifter from car-part. The front drive clutches are slipping, and I wanted to swap out for a 241 anyway for a future SAS or someting more exotic like a narrowed ford 8.8 to replace the IFS diff.

Heck yeah, np241 is such a simple Tcase, easy to get new parts easy to rebuild etc.. cant go wrong with it, and you can even eliminate the slip yoke to make it even stronger.

Im not sure what your endgame is here but the 246E is very easy to get parts for and stupid easy to rebuild. Heck the cores are so cheap the last one I did in my wife's Tahoe I just bought a core for $300 shipped and rebuilt it. Replaced hers and it just so happened to turn out that hers had the chain do a peek-a-boo out of the case anyway so it is now a parts donator. And 246E Tcase's are everywhere.

Clutches, electronics, a magnesium case that the oil pump wears through. Can't think of a single reason to dump money into repairing an inferior case with so many failure points.

Oil pump will never wear through if a case saver is installed. Never had any of the sensors fail on all 3 of my 246E cases ( 2-Tahoes 1-Denali). Clutches wear out, they are an wear item. Never had to rebuild a 246E because the clutches were worn out. I replace them when I do a rebuild which prevents that but the clutches have never a reason that ive had to open a 246E up.

Transfer case arrived and looks good.

The cse came with a three prong range switch will work perfectly for the yukon. Middle prong grounds internally in 4Lo for the ECU shift tables. Two outer prongs make contact in 4WD for the front axle acuator.

My 241 has the other style flange, I'm ashamed to admit I've been riding without a front prop shaft for the last good part of a year. Whats the part number for the pig tails, I broke one of the tabs on mine and its barely hanging there.
