Hello everyone,
I just got back from Afghanistan in July and after a few family trips to the mountains, we realized our Subaru Outback Limited was just too small. My 2000 Suburban is fine for around town but I wasnt comfortable taking it on long trips. We test drove a 2018 Santa Fe Limited Ultimate and boy was it a cool SUV but again it was too small. We looked at some NNBS Yukon XLs and set our budget around 20k but then decided we wanted something newer with less miles. So after selling our Outback and beloved lifted golf cart we pulled the trigger on a 2017 Yukon XL 4x4. All I can say is we love the truck and so far very happy with it. We just got the windows tinted and I'm going to trim the front air dam. No crazy mods for now. I'm looking for a roof rack to hold the kayaks and maybe some A/Ts when the tires need replacing. Also looking at getting an ARB 2500 Awning since we like to go on road trips and a nice shady spot would be nice. All in all we love the truck, I personally hated the color but the wife loves it. It's slowly growing on me.
