What will be the problem if my scanner can not read data stream on my 2002 Tahoe. It can read it on my other cars. Can the inboard computer be an issue?

Check the fuses. I had the same problem and it turned out that a fuse was blown. I think its the same fuse thats for the cig lighter or aux input.

Really? Wow I checked all fuses under hood I need to check the other ones tomorrow. By any chance did your cluster gauge act weird when it didn't work? My abs and battery light comes on and the gas gauge would go crazy and no data stream. Thanks

It was one on the driver's side that blew. My Guages was acting normal when it happened.

The fuse is under the hood, there should be a group of them in a triangle on the drivers side.
