I am looking for the 5-point star wheel locks. I lost one as I was driving on the highway, I guess I forgot to tighten it all the way since I had rotated the tires weeks prior. Anyway, I bought part number - 09599493- as a "crutch" until I find the original lock set. Unfortunately, my original wheel lock key does not have a part/serial number and i cannot find it online. Attached is a picture of my original key, then the oem wheel lock 5 pt star, and lastly, the new wheel lock ( 6 pt star). Has anyone dealt with McGard in regards about their oem lock? Would they be able to help if I give them my VIN? these were installed at the dealership so I cant recall if I saw a part number anywhere. Any help is appreciated.

I had to get a replacement key from them before. They had me send them a pencil rubbing of the lock design and they figured it out from that and sold me the new key directly. So they should be able to do the same thing for damaged nuts.
For the cost of new set it might be quicker to just change them all tho?

If it’s OEM, McGuire or GM knows the code. (Could also be on the cover of the box it came in (look in your boot)
