Need a little help guys. 2015 Yukon Denali XL. Came originally with fixed running boards. I want to install power running boards. I THINK I'd like to go with OEM. AMP is probably second choice but I'd like to not have them plugged into the OBDII port. What I need to know is, are the trucks that cam with fixed boards already equipped with the pigtails to plug power boards into? Ready to go or is the wiring on the truck not there and/or anything need to be "programmed" for them to function? I found one very short video on Youtube but nothing was discussed.

Thanks

Look underneath yours for the plugs. There's a big one under each front door and a couple more on driver side for the module. If they're not there it's not pre wired.

it's likely going to depend on your "trim" level, as noted already look under it for the harness. In any case yes programming will be required. if there is no harness that just means more work
