So I'm looking at a set of 22x9.5 rims that come in either a 35 or 18 offset. I want to run the 18 because I prefer the more aggressive look with the rims slightly pushed out. I'm using tbss 22s as a reference cause I believe they run a 20 offset.

What I'm wondering is what impact, if any, running 18 os combined with a 305/40/22 will have on liner rub. When I had the oem 22s with 30 os and that tire I had a slight rub at full lock that I can live with. Will the 18 os make that rub less or more?

I can always run 285/45/22 but if the rub is no worse I'd prefer the wider tire.

Of course the other option would be to run 35 up from and 18 in the back. That gets a little tricky on an AWD tho cause that's quite a significant difference that can mess with the TAD in the long. Plus that'll make it harder to sell them down the road.

I never had tbss wheels, I've just seen how they sit on other folks' trucks ... usually with 285/45s on them.

The 30 offset should not rub at all with the 305. The 18 will rub on both front and back of inner fender. Just my experience. Is your truck lowered? I'm am unable to view your mods on my phone.
