oil change??

97 - 4 door - 116k miles. im in sw missouri and it will be over 100 degrees F thru the duration of this next oil change. any advise on type? much thanks in advance

You should be fine with 10w-30... synthetic if you aren't already running it.

I live in SW, Missouri also. I use Valvoline High Mileage 10w-30 with no problems. I think its part synthetic. Buy Wix, Microguard, or K&N filter. IMO, Fram sucks.

For me,i just use a good quality motor oil (10w30) and oil filter,i have both changed when needed.

BTW,try to avoid anything that has the word "value" on it.Also unless Fram has inproved apon their producs over the the last few years,than i'd have to agree on not using Fram,atleast their oil filters...
