I installed a new radiator this weekend and now the lower oil cooler line is leaking at the radiator. I put a new o-ring on the line but it still has a slow drip.
Is there something else that I'm missing?
The new radiator came with brass adapter fittings for the ports on the radiator. I had to use the ones on the trans cooler side but the oil cooler lines thread right into the radiator. One thing I noticed is the adapters have a ridge that holds an o-ring in place and the oil lines just have a raised crimp that the o-ring fits against. Also the old radiator had "flat" o-ring seals, kind of like a spacer. I haven't been able to find any thing like these at the parts store so I bought an o-ring set and used those.
