Oil gauge has no reading

I just bought a 2006 Yukon denali xl and the oil gauge shows no reading at all. Took into shop and they replaced the sending unit and changed the wiring harness. Would the next step be changing the whole instrument cluster ? Starting to get a little pricey

More than likely it's a stepper motor in the cluster since the pressure switch has been replaced. I would look at the data on a scan tool to see if it's showing pressure before jumping into the cluster.

^ Agreed. Not much else it could be. Unless there is a break in the wiring somewhere. Scan tool would verify.

He already replaced that, aka sending unit.
