I have been changing my own oil for years but recently got coupon in the mail for my local mechanic shop. I thought what the hell 20 dollars is cheaper than buying the oil. Oh one thing I have been using this mechanic shop for major repairs on my 01 and the wifes infiniti for years so I trust the guy. That being said.. oil change. I never had an oil leak around the filter before. I waited until the 3000 miles and went back to my own change. Now I still have a leak. Suggestions?

Look right above the top of the oil filter and see if there is a leak. There's lines that typically leak there, or a leaky gasket if you have no lines (blocked off)
