Mine looked like it was comming from the front of the oil pan but it was comming from the intake mani gasket. I cleaned the area around the oil pan with some parts/brake cleaner. Then it took about a week to get it to drip back down on the driveway. My drip had a slight redish tint to it because of the coolant mixed in with it. This helped me track it down.

Cant be coming from there on mine. i replaced the mani gaskets when i bought it in may of 2010. mine is leaking from the back, mainly from the back half of the oil pan. looks really bad around in between the flywheel cover and the pan.

yea thats for sure. I heard that you can't get it to stop leaking completely. Every 350 that I have had in a GM the rear main leaked just a little but not enough to leak on the ground.

This is my first truck. i love it! and i want it to be perfect. its got like 150,000 miles on it. so i guess ill let it leak till its time for a new motor. im thinking a LS1 with a magnacharger on top! That sounds like fun!

Since your handy with cars, why not a 383 with a Blower on it, with marine intake swap?
