Oil on all 4 brakes!?!

2016 Yukon at dealer for alignment and oil change. They tell that they are seeing oil on all 4 calipers/rotors and spun around the wheel well. What the heck is going on? The only thing that I can think of is my son drove with AUTO AWD on and the axle seals blew out, is that possible?

Got pictures? Did they say what kind of oil?

If there was oil in the rotors and pads you would know about it because they would be next to worthless to stop the vehicle.

I haven't picked up vehicle yet. I'm actually concerned that they'd let me drive it away!
They say that is doesn't appear to smell like gear oil and mentioned that if the pads got wet that they should be replaced. Ha, no kidding.

The odd thing is that it's on all 4 wheels.

I told them to keep it another day and take a better look at what the oil could be and where it's coming from.

I would almost be wondering if it was something picked up off of the roadway. Strange to get it on all 4 corners like that. Maybe someone greasing up the tires with tire shine and went crazy or the tire shine feature at a car wash went overboard or something.

Sounds like someone doesn't like you. Couple years back I found oil on my DS rotor that looked like it was intentionally sprayed on it from the pattern on the inside pf the rim. I have a pretty good idea which ****** neighbor did it. Might want to keep an eye on it.
