Recently My Oil Pressure Gauge Has Gone All The Way To The Max. Ran It Past The Mechanic, I Was Told Most Likely It's The Sensor. Anyone Ever Experience This? I Also Notice That I Do NOT Get The Same Amount Of Acceleration As I Did Before This Occurred. 2003 Yukon Denali

I have heard that the sending units are known to go bad. Supposed to be easy fix for less than 50 bucks if DIY. Napa or Autozone. Located back of block on drivers side I believe?

It's a toss up whether it's your oil sender or the stepper motor in the gauge. Mine was the stepper motor (gauge)

My sending unit went. No leaks and the oil pressure just dropped on the gage. Replaced the sending unit and works perfectly again

95% probability it's the sending unit. It's a common LS problem. It happened on my Z06 and I relocated the sensor in case of a subsequent failure (has happened numerous times). Jegs had everything I needed for the relocation for 15 bucks.
