okay so I have a few questions.. first off i have a 2001 suburban 5.3 2wd k&n c.a.i and a 50 series muffler with a 3 inch tip. so i was online and looking at some headers pacesetter seemed cheap.. what brand gets the most power and is it worth the upgrade for power? and throttle body spacers is it do much for power? what else could i do to get more hp n trq.. im looking to get a tune this summer. the reason i want some help is i have done alot of visual stuff to my car making it look classy now i want some more power

there Throttle Body spacer does not do shit waste of money. Put a Vett Servo in and or a Better Turqe converter a lower Gear, a Tune You have Black Bear, Thunder Racing, and another that I cant remember. I am Running the DynaTech Long Tubes with Free Flow Cats and a IMCO/Cherry Bomb Extreme single in dual out Muffler, But I had it tuned for all that and More I am Running Heads and cam and 4.10 gears and a 2800 stall toque converter. My 5.3L was Bored out to a 350Ci also.

As stated above, dont waste your money in a tb spacer.
Opening the exhaust with a set of long tube headers will give you some more power especially with a pcm tune. Im running the pacesetters on mine. The flanges are pretty thick and the welds are nice. Its a decent set of headers, especially for the price.
A better breathing intake, electric fans, headers/cat-back, slightly higher stall tc and lower (numerically higher) diff gears will help a lot if you get a custom pcm tune to compliment all the upgrades.
If you dont mind getting into the motor, a cam swap will definitely help.

I know a bunch of camaro and vette gearheads that say that if you're going to do headers do a cam too. They swear by the fact that you won't get the full benefit of the exhaust flow until you do. My buddy gets all his cams and such from texasspeed.com. They make all kinds of stuff for camaros and our trucks. If I remember right they even had a set of long tubes for our trucks.

I would have to agree with that. That brand seems to be a very good thing to have, and in order to really make things work out with that one, you would be needing some things to consider, eg: the price and the compatibility; in order to really make things right on your vehicle. Hope that you have already resolved this one.

throttle body spacers...wast of money. might as well buy the "tornado" in for your intake also. from what i have learned/heard long tube headers, free flow cats, free flow intake and an engine tune. after that your lookin into a cam, new heads, crank shaft and pistons. or a 6.0 swap
