Ive been looking for chrome slides for a while now and for being on a lot of tahoes they are pretty hard to find used. Especially in CA. Anyone have any knowledge to anyone selling them? Or should I bite the bullet and put out $2800 with Nexun tires as the best offer for 24s chrome.

thanks for the help in advance

If there aren't many used, then I suppose people are buying them and keeping them.

...Which leads to the concern that they're so popular that some folks here wouldn't bother getting them. But, they're popular for a reason, so...

The price you stated here does NOT sound like a lot of money for those wheels and tires. You could certainly spend a lot more on wheels.

I'd be inclined to bite the bullet and get them new. Your call, obviously.

Yeah, 2800 for wheels AND tires is not bad at all really when talking about brand new. I have run across a set or two of the Slides on CL in my area but it's not real often. If interested, PM jdpber on here. He has a wheel and tire business and sell Slides. I'm not sure what his are priced at but he'd be worth a shot :waytogo:

There's a guy in south FL that quoted me $1,700 for 22" chrome Slides with tires. The rims were $960ish. I might be able to track him down and get you in touch with him. It might be worth it to check it out and see if he'll ship to you. I would imagine shipping will be at least $300 but it'll still save you some cash.

Yeah its looking more like new is the only option. The reason I am looking for these is my 2crave wheels in chrome look like a brushed aluminum now. The chrome did not hold up very well after 1 1/2 years. Ive had KMC chrome wheels before that were way more durable even through mud. Any issues with these?
