I recently installed philips led reverse lights and license plate led lights on my 2016 Yukon XL Denali. Everything has worked flawlessly. A few days ago I received a email from onstar saying there was a problem with one or more lights on my Yukon. I called onstar so that they could run a diagnostic report and everything came out fine. Eventually the problem was narrowed down to one of my license plate lights.
The only thing I can think of is that during the install of the license plate LEDs I installed a bulb backwards which cause it not to light up. However after that I quickly installed the bulb correctly and have not had any issues with these LEDs and so far no more messages from onstar.
I apologize for making such a long story out of this. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with LEDs?
