When I start my vehicle in the garage the wipers immediately swipe one time for no reason. Windshield is clean and clear… any ideas?

I believe your switch on the control stalk may be turned on to the very lowest intermittent level as I had the same concern with mine.

Mine does the same thing when starting in the garage. Not every time, but probably 50%.

I'll check this, but yes they are auto sensing. Most likely I'll put it on the list for its 1st visit. Pretty sure malfunctioning things aren't in the manual...

Pretty sure you are right about malfunctioning things but what I meant was, guess you did not get what I was trying to get across, did you read the manual to see if you had any settings wrong? Or even read the manual at all. All the previous posts mentioned things that they did wrong or needed to reset or found was just the rig's set up.

I said the manual may have info. Never once said the manual was a shop manual. You can be short with me because you are frustrated if you want to. I obviously have thicker skin than you.

Not being short, but after having many vehicles with auto sensing wipers I pretty much know that swiping on startup in a dry garage means something isn’t quite right and isn’t a setting…
Doesn’t do it every time, about 70% is more accurate…

Sir, your first statement says that and does not say this, "Doesn’t do it every time, about 70% is more accurate…" which could have led some of us in a different direction for "intermittent" problems. Those can open up a whole other can of worms and lead to different suggestions.

Just sayin'.
