OnStar Aux Mod?

While searching some stuff, I saw a reference to an OnStar "Aux" Mod.
Of course, now, I can't find it again.
What is this mod, and where's the write up?

What did this mod accomplish? There are some links I found when googling "onstar aux mod"... But I'm not sure what you are trying to do...

I didn't see what it did. But, now that I know my OnStar buttons are worthless, I'm curious what someone may have done with theirs.

From what I read while searching, it appears that some people wired a microphone from the radio so they could use their cell phone through the aux input.

I also read somewhere you can tap into the onstar unit in the dash and use its GPS antenna. Seemed like too much effort just to use a GPS antenna since everyone has smart phones.

Pretty simple AUX input for those that don't have one. Mines been working pretty good.
