Hello everyone. I haven't ever been able to get my OnStar to work in my 2004 Yukon SLT. I wanted to see if there was a free trial or something so I looked into getting it. Everywhere I looked said all you had to do was press the blue OnStar button on the mirror (and that's the only thing the support guy told me to do) and I would talk to someone to get me set up. Well when I press any of the buttons nothing happens. I test drove other vehicles like mine before I bought my Yukon and when I pushed the OnStar button on the steering wheel controls on those other vehicles it would say "OnStar ready". Well I don't even get that. Anyone know what the problem could be? I don't know where to start with this thing.

Yes I do. The whole sound system is stock. It's the Bose system if that helps.

I tried adjusting my mirror down the other day and hit the blue button on accident going 80mph. Julie from Onstar turned off my music and started talking to me from my radio. Talk about deer in the headlights look.......

Well I found out why it doesn't work today. I tried calling OnStar today to get them to unlock my car and they couldn't do it because mine was still analog and needed to be switched over to digital.
