Greeting all,

It been some time since I posted anything here with a move to ABQ and all. Before we left Florida I got the captioned message after a scan when the brake light came on. I checked the output of the sensor and got about 0.5vac so it should be ok. The problem would seem to be the wire itself. Unfortunately, the OTC manual I have does not appear to have the wiring schematic for the ABS system. I need to determine the landing point of the sensor wire to check continuity. Does anyone have a schematic for the ABS system or know where to find the termination of the wheel sensor wire? Any ideas appreciated, Thanks
Andy

how do you check the output voltage of the sensor? just curious because the harness provides the 5v and the sensor would then ohm out at a specific rate, is that what you meant to say?

All you need to do is disconnect the sensor wire from the harness at the connection on the frame and measure the AC voltage from the hub connector to ground. You have to spin the wheel/hub fairly briskly but you should see something around a half-volt AC. Make sure you have your meter set to AC volts not DC, ask me how I know this.
