I'm in the market for an Optima Yellowtop and unfortunately Optima doesn't make one specifically for my 08' XL Denali .... What model are you guys running in your car that fits? Please don't say "size it" .... I'd appreciate those who own them to post actual model #'s.
Thanks in advance!

Any Optima Yellow top battery can start your truck, that being said I would have to say just get one as close too the stock sized battery.
Most on here that have them run them along with the stock one, and second battery tray, to power their extra accessories.

Mine is a D35. The autozone guy doubted that it would fit but it installed and works just fine. :)

I just placed my order with Amazon

I'm kinda real sorta late getting in on this thread but Optima will only honor their warranty if the battery is purchased from an authorized reseller or ordered directly. Amazon is not on their list of sellers.

I went with the D34 Yellow top Optima. If you can take your time and find the lowest price locally. Even some Radio Shack stores carry them. I also advise going to their website and downloading the warranty sheets and printing them along with your purchase receipt.

I honestly would go with Deka over anything out there. Best battery IMHO, Optima's are overrated and overpriced and Deka's outperform them in my experience.

I run the regular Deka's p/n 878MF in my Duramax truck which should be the same battery as the new Tahoe's. There is also a Deka Intimidator battery that costs a little more.
