Outside mirrors

Just wondering if anyone has or knows if you can take apart the outside mirrors?? I bought new (used) mirrors for my 02 Yukon but they don't have the courtesy lights in them so I would like to change the bottom assemblies if I can.

You have to pry the tabs off with a screwdriver behind the mirror.
