One of my buttons on my overhead console light went out this past week. It's the button that controls the sun-roof. Does anyone have any idea how difficult of a process it is to replace this light? Thanks.
It's not bad. You remove the cover over the reading lights, take out the two bolts/screws, then the panel is just held on by clips so you pull to take it off. Disconnect the harness from the button, remove the button, and do the rest in reverse!
I have replaced the bulb on a NBS sunroof switch with a LED. Had to take the switch apart and unsolder the stock bulb. Not sure how much different the process would be on your sunroof switch.

I have this same issue on my NNBS denali. My sunroof and right rear seat folder button are off. Never cared enough to worry about it, but if there was an easy fix, I would do it...
I just sent an email to gm parts direct to confirm the part numbers.
I have had the overhead console down in the past, I guess I was thinking about it all wrong! The bulbs are burned out, yes, but replacing the whole switch would be easy.
