Hi, new here. Just bought an '06 yukon denali and tried the dvd player out for the first time. The player seems to work. I can here sound through the headphones but the screen doesn't turn on. Was wondering if it could be something as simple as a fuse or do I need to replace the whole thing?

Ok so here's an update. I got the dvd player to work. I un-bolted it dropped it down then unplugged the screen wires from the back of the player to see if maybe something was loose. Idk. Then plugged it back in, bolted it back up and what do you know, it worked. I can turn the player on and off as I please with the truck running on or off and everything works. I can then get out and hit the alarm then get back in and it powers up no problem. I can also flip up the screen and flip it down again while a DVD is playing with no trouble. Buuuuuuuuut if I turn off the vehicle, flip the screen up and get out then turn on the alarm, the damn dvd player doesn't work anymore when I get back in and try to power everything on. It won't work again until I repeat the steps of unbolting and disconnecting then reconnecting the screen wires. Can anyone shed some light on this problem. It doesn't look like any wires are being pinched or pulled when I flip the screen up. It only seems to happen when the screen is up and all power is cut and only seems to work if i leave the screen down all the time after getting it to work by unplugging the wires. Please help!!!!!!
