Clogged bypass, incorrect house routing, low fluid, air pockets ... need more info on the truck to give you advice.

What can I do to check if it might possibly be a clogged hose, or even radiator ?

Basic rules if thermostat is good and system is full.......

High speed driving (highway) if truck runs hot then radiator is clogged or water flow problem.

Low speed driving and truck runs hot, airflow problem......fan, air obstruction, etc.

Ok So how my buddy told me to check and see if there is a clog is to let it get to running temp, then squeeze hose , if its easy to squeeze there is something clogging the system

Get or borrow an infrared temp gun and get some temp readings, water neck, head, radiator inlet, outlet, etc and you'll probably find where your issue is a little quicker.

When at a overnight cold start raise your engine a few thousand rpm's. Do you hear the fan howl at all and feel massive air flow. Do the same when really hot. Do you hear and feel the flow or is it weak but you do feel heavy heat. if the former and/or later you fan clutch may have failed. And if you are feeling the heat the the primary coolant passages should be clear. Also when hot I take it the upper hose gets hot and stiff?

The and will always spin. How strong depends on its clutch. Youbshould feel heatbfrom the back of fan at engine side. If when teLltale hot your horse hose is soft your themo is not opening. Maybe an airpocket. Maybe clogged bypass system.
