Hello just installed two bosch oxygen sensors, forgot what item number, to the downstream taps.
While finishing job I plugged in main plug to sensor and it was not happening.. Spun the connection around 180 degrees and yes it went in nicely. Now a week later I have Service engine light on and AUTOZONE code reader says I have an electrical issue with this install.
Yesterday I went to the main connections and did DIELECTRIC GREASE. Also found another connector less than a ruler and also did DIELECTRIC GREASE. Also electric tape on other areas of main line.
I still have the error message.
Would a continuity tester be next or buy new main line plugs and re-due the wires?
Thank you.
I love auto mechanics gone wrong.

Yes the main line connector is plugged in,just 180 degrees wrong. The release clips are 180 degrees from a normal clip in .

does turning the main line socket 180 degrees effect the polarity even though it fits well into bosch o2 sensor?
