P0103 03 Tahoe

I keep having a P0103, maf. I changed out the maf with a known good used one and the code is still present. Sometimes the idle searches up and down for a second then idles correctly. Stalls frequently, especially when trying to back up. Originally was a 4.8 now 6.0 with headers, offroad y pipe(no cats) and bigger can. Tuned for all the mods. Check engine light doesn't light up but the code gets stored in the pcm. As soon as I clear it, comes right back. Any ideas? Forget about bringing it back to the garage who did it. Tia.

Sounds weird. Have you disconnected the battery? Check the plug that goes to the MAF?

Battery has been disconnected a few different times for different reasons. I haven't really examined the plug yet. Weird because the check engine light doesn't come on, and it does work.

check your plugs and see if any are fouled. If ur fouling plugs well let's talk injectors..
