P0449 Code Help

The ses light in my 08 denali came on over the weekend. I got the codes scaned and it cabe back as a P0449 which they say is the purge valve error. Can anyone help please

Sounds like you may have to replace purge solenoid valve or possibly a short in connector. Same thing happened to mine a few months back. I replaced purge valve and vapor canister and still got code. Turned out to be short in electrical connector. Good luck. There are several posts about this on other forums as well. Just search and you will find what you need.
