I've read, searched and asked around about this and seem to be getting various answers.
I am ready to install a new A/C compressor, accumulator and o-tube. The compressor is dry, no oil, per the box it came in. I have been told to add 2 oz. then told to drain the old comp and add that amount, THEN told to add 2 oz. to the compressor and then 3 oz to the accumulator.
I can completely see the drain, measure, refill method being the correct way. BUT When i dropped my old accumulator there was some green liquid that came out of it, was that the oil? Pretty much all of it came out and of course i wasnt able to measure the qty of oil in there.
SO.... Could anyone PLEASE help me out with this?
