Painted housing on headlights

Hi guys! I just recently bought an 08 Yukon and decided on painting the housing of the headlights. I just can't decide to paint match them to the truck and change the signal to black or to paint the housing black. Has anyone done this and has some pictures they can show me?

I am getting 24" black rims, lowering it, changing the tail lights to the denali black ones, and painting the GMC logo black. I just tinted the front two windows today.

If anyone has some pictures of painted headlight housing..either black or paint matching...can you please post?

I've seen colormatched (light colored yukon) housings somewhere on here before ... it does not look good imho. I'll try to find the thread.

Black housings on a black truck are okayish for the 'murdered out' theme but look ricerish to me. Here a fella with some aftermarket black housings on his Yuk: http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?44321-2007-GMC-Yukon-Retrofit

Imo, unless undertaking a retrofit, best leave headlight housings alone.
