painted some stuff under the hood... questions

I painted the air intake, master cylinder lid, fuse lid, and some other stuff. i didn't sand or anything, just painted. I'm wondering if it's going to hold up under the heat? It was just regular spray paint.

I think their is a good chance it should hold up,atleat for a good while.In the future tho,always try to scuff up the serface of anything you intend on painting.

I painted the motor cover on my old '04 Police Impala a while ago and it is still holding up from what i have been told.However,i did scuff the serface slightly before painting.

As long as you at least degreased the parts first, it should hold up for a little while.
