Painting side markers

Can I legally paint the chrome inside of these side markers white?

legally no. You have to have an orange reflector on the front of the vehicle and a red reflector on the rear.

So you only want to paint the chrome part white and leave the orange? The chrome part is what makes the light shine... but yeah you could do that

i have never had them orange. first thing i do is color match or clear them out. different states and towns police may be more lenient than others though.
they surely dont care in AZ as i have been doing this for years.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking of doing. I figured it would shine decent with the white still to a point though

That's the thing... you many officers would really pull you over for that? However, it is something to stop you for and then just harass you...

Still no "reflector" though. Law says you have to have a orange/red reflector, not just an orange/red light
