Thanx everyone. I appreciate the advice and the tips. I'm still not 100% on what I will do because I'm not sure it I want gross or flat finish. But once I decide I'll post some pics and I'll be that much more experianced

I am pretty sure they make gloss cover for the plastidip now. I could have sworn I saw it on the shelf the other day at the store. May not have been the original plastidip but as long as they are made of the same chemicals they will go with each other.

Yeah it's their glossifier

being a veteran dipper the best advice i can give when dipping rims is dip them when there off the vehicle so you can dip the back as well and always use at least a whole can per wheel dont try to cut corners like i used to when i first started and try to get away with 1 or 2 cans for all 4 wheels itll last the longest when you do 1 light dusting let dry then 4 more coats with dip the more coats the better itll last longer and its so so much easier to get off when you only use a couple coats its a freakin pain to get off

check out dipyourcar.com they also came out with a super high gloss top coat it doesnt come in rattle cans but they sell it in like quarts and you can use one of those pre val sprayers
