Parking break light stays on after releasing the parking break. Any ideas?

Have you checked the fluid level? Did it release fully?

Pull the release and use your toe to pull up on the pedal and see if the light goes out. Last one I did the front parking brake cable was binding and wouldn't release. You can see the switch on the pedal assembly under the dash.

Your 'break' is broke, and your 'brake' might be, too.
