parking break problems

I currently have a parking brake problem with my 95 4dr Tahoe, pretty much for the year plus that I have had it when you disengage the parking brake you would have to hold the release lever and move the parking brake up the last few inches so the last time it was in the shop I said can you look at it and maybe adjust it or figure out what the problem is so ended up being one side the parking brake was working the other side it was frozen open so there trying to replace the cables and there having issues with the cables either being to long or short they have gone through Napa and a few other local shops there on there 4th set and no luck, tried the Chevy dealer and its discontinued and there are a few still floating around out there got to call up with my vin number tomorrow and see if any of those that are left would work, so has anyone else had this problem before at all? Or know of any places to get them from and the part numbers and brand? Because they were saying maybe the parking cables off of the Tahoe were off something else because there having such a hard time to get the new cables to match up with the old ones I know the Tahoe, Silverado and Suburban share some parts I don’t know if this might be one…thanks for the help

Oreily auto has front and rear left and rear right.

Over 20 to choose from actually from three different brands. Prefer Wagner.

update ended up going to the dealer gave them the vin and they told me the length of the cables I need went to Advance and ordered them went with Wagner they come in wensday so the Tahoe should be back on the road soon, thanks for the help

I don't think I've ever used the parking brake on mine ... hmmmmm

I just replaced all my lines when i went with the SSBC drum to disc kit, before the parking brake never worked, lets hope it locks those tires up pretty good.

BTW whats the measurements? and which side is what length?

I got the mesaurements at home ill put them up when im home latter on, how much did that SSBC kit run ya?

lol ya pretty much everywhere I go besides work there is some kinda hill I park on so I usually use it.
