Did you ever get this done? I took mine apart on the side where the lock is at and is operated by the little weight/inertia operated thingy (for lack of actual term, lol). I put it back together, thought it was working correctly after that and then after I got everything remounted inside the truck it locked up again and won't release. There's like a blue gear looking thing inside it with a black funky shaped gear inside the blue gear with a blue lever that has a spring on it. As the black gear turns it moves the blue lever up/down which the blue lever helps operate the inertia lock. I think I may not have that back in correctly. Do you or anyone know how to reset it correctly?
