I've searched and read enough to realize that it's not just a case of popping off a half dozen screws with a drill as I assumed it was (glad I checked!)
My front crossmember is peeling badly. I'm having body work and paint done now to bring the exterior up to like new, and then it's off to Line-X to have the lower rockers done.
How about Line-Xing the roof rack? Anyone done that?
Otherwise, it sounds like masking the rack and hitting it with a rattlecan might be the time/expense value way to go.
Any suggestions?
