Hey all,
I've browsed this site for a while for information about my 1999 Tahoe. Since I sold my 300c and flipped dad's Cadillac DTS for a little cash, I have been daily driving my Tahoe that is currently approaching 220k miles. The Vortec 350 has just about had it, it can still drive but it is very slow.
I've been shopping for a 2500 Suburban or Yukon for over two years and finally pulled the trigger a week or two ago. I finally got a chance to give it a good wash today and took a few pictures. The lighting wasn't ideal on the pictures.
Here's my 2004 Yukon XL 2500 with the 8.1L, 2wd, 77.5k miles:
I've already had the tint done and installed a Sony DVD headunit in the Yukon. Also took off the SLT badges. I'm planning on doing the HD style mirror next. I love this thing! It really is huge compared to the Tahoe, but the 8.1L has PLENTY of power.
