I installed my Depos last week and installed them on Friday.

I ordered DDM 55w 5000k HIDs on April 4th, they shipped out the 6th from China and they got here on the 11th.....pretty quick considering how far they traveled and it going through the weekend.

This is with the HIDs......

I'm going to have someone retrofit some Lexus RX projectors with clear lenses into the Depos in the next 1.5 months......can't wait. :)

Looks pretty good. There's some hot strange hot-spots in the overall pattern, but not bad at all. :)

Will the hot spots go away with the retrofit? Also, will the beam pattern be wider than it is now?

Yes, to both. The spread will depend somewhat on what projector you get. Some are narrower than others. The TSX is one of the widest I've seen commonly used. There's some comparison shots of others on the last page of my write-up, but here's a shot of mine. It's hard to tell, but this is about 50 feet from the wall. If I'm on the freeway, I can light up all four lanes on my side, my shoulder, plus most of the other side's lanes.
