Thinking about doing this. I have 26" u2 55's with 305-30-26's. Wondering If anyone has pics of a tahoe lowered 3/5 on 6's. And does anyone know how Steve meades tahoe is lowered?
Steve originally had the DJM setup in his tahoe for a 3/5 on the same rims and tires
that included control arms, shocks, 5" coils and a couple other hardware pieces
now he has AirRide technologies titanium shocks with the ride pro digital ride height sensors combined with the DJM upper and lower control arms and McGaughy's spindles
i had the 3/5 djm on mine i paid 350 craigs list but now i am tucking 24z with the 3/5 and 2500 hd torsion keys c notched cut springs shock relocaters and it rides like a caddy !!!!
Like Bigblue said I do have a 3/5 on 26s, here is a pic of it below and in my sig.
If you have the same model Steve has yours will be lower with a 3/5 being that the new ones are higher up from factory.
:
If you run a 295/25/26 it won't rub much if any at all, run a 305/30/26 with a 3/5 on a NBS you are going to be doing a lot of cutting and malleting to stop the rubbing.
Problem is the 295/25/26 is only made by Pirelli and it will run you atlest $1400 for a set of them $$$$$
