It`s not very popular on our trucks since the stock pipe is big enough for most modifications.

Most do a simple catback or just swap a new muffler of the stock pipe.

when I do my l92 headswap with new intake and big throttle body. THEN Im doing a TRUE dual with X pipe right infront of the Xmember... Then the 2 mufflers dumped right shortly after.

untill then my LPP 3" ORY pipe is plenty enuff.

We had an X pipe on the Silverado. Was completely custom with two Spintechs. Justin did all the welding himself, not the easiest thing in the world with all the cross members. Are you planning on doing it yourself?

Not too bad, but not really my thing. Justin really liked it, and always got compliments on it.

I have a magnaflow x pipe before my mufflers, they make them in different sizes so if you have a small space that can fit it too. I cut my factory Y pipe into separate exits for the left and right. 2 small sections of pipe to the x pipe and then 2 stainless mufflers into left and right tail pipes....a true dual setup. I love the sound, not loud when cruising around town but when you go WOT it has such a good quality to it. it's hard to describe, maybe a bit civilized yet not to unruly like a flowmaster would be.
