Trying to decide if I want to do a chrome delete on the sides.... but can't seem to find a rig that is midnight blue tinted with the stock rims. Black rims give a whole different look, but probably won't be getting those til next year. Trying to create a visual image to make my decision with my shop Thursday when I send it in ...

Thanks in advance

Blackout is best. You won’t see yourself going and coming and you will get tons of compliments….

The top picture blacked out is sweet. But is that midnight blue or hunter metallic? I think u need more contrast when doing a black out unless u like total black

That top one was a pic from here in the 202 pic thread. It was a color offered in 2021 but not 22. Might be hunter metallic but don't recall offhand.

My thought is blacking out a majority of the chrome, but leaving the handles and grill alone to leave a little contrast. Possibly swap out the grill area for the vadar chrome if those parts come available at some point.

I think the blackout with polished rims would be my choice. You're right that the black wheels give an entirely different look. I think the blackout with the polished wheels would give it what I would call, an elevated stock look. The black wheels make it look like a fully custom rig.

My vote is the Blacked out look. I would nit normally say this but with the Midnight Blue it works. The Z71 black chrome accents help more.

Take a look at the. Tahoe “TX Edition. Rims…OEM are polished aluminum….That is a reference for the pattern. They also make a gloss black version of the same rims which go very nicely with the MB Paint. I purchased the Red BowTie center caps separately but since GMC OEM center caps should be red, that provides a subtle contrast. If They also make 20“ versions in gloss black but not sure about the pattern.

Whatever pattern you choose I recommend Gloss Black and red center caps. If you need photos send me a PM with email address.

It was from another post but I found a photo…Remember. The Tahoe TX Edition package……same pattern as the package just Gloss Black powder cpating…..definitely easier to keep clean…..the red center cap logo provides slight contrast while not overwhelming.

I decided not to do the black out, cause the wife was already complaining about debadging it. Blacked out the red gmc badges on the front n rear though

Happy wife Happy life.

I sent my photos too late! I still say they would look good on a Denali and help cut some of the glare!
