Plastic rocker scuff plate removal?

2005 Yukon xl along the top of the rockers there is a long hard black textured plastic trim piece that runs from front to back. Not sure what it’s actually called but I would call it a scuff plate. It has weatherstrip attached to it I think. I can’t find a video on this. How do you remove it?

Post a pic of what you're talking about. Might be easier to identify.

I figured it out it's fastened in with clips on the face of the rocker panel. The piece pulls straight out away from the body. The rear door has to come off to remove the entire piece.

The complete door? Or door panel?
