I have an 08 Escalade with black interior and I don't really like the "ruby" "wood" trim. I love real wood trim so I was thinking about trying to change to the Platinum trim down the road. I did a quick search but not much came up. Has anyone swapped just the trim from the Platinum into a non-Platinum? I know the dash is leather wrapped and all but it appears that the shape is the same. The only piece that might be troublesome is the piece that loops around the back of the console, I hope that piece doesn't only come as part of the console.
