Playing iPod through rear RCAs

i have an 09 Yukon Denali w/nav & Bose stereo. Is it possible to control anipod through the head unit using the rear RCAs?

@fiatdale , you mean a 12+ OEM radio with USB? I am thinking going this route with @NathanJax CigLighter USB Mod instead of the aftermarket Pioneer... something about just looking clean and stock, but having the USB..
